ABOUT US

Great Grace Ministries: We are a Christian missions organization dedicated to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ in Mexico, while also training and equipping new missionaries to share the gospel around the world. We were officially founded in August of 2018.

Jarillo Family Team: Elias grew up in a small town located in Central Mexico where Elias, Katie and their three children moved, in 2017, to start full-time ministry.

Leadership Team (GGM Board of Directors):

Gabriel Heter: Gabe and his wife, Kiley, were married in 2000 and have five children. He spends most of his time playing with their kids and spending time with his wife. Someday he hopes to be able to read books again. He works as a software developer for an engineering company in Idaho. Gabe, and Kiley, have been friends with Katie and Elias for more than fifteen years and have been deeply impacted by the work and service of Great Grace Ministries.

Kelly Cantrell: Kelly started her career in the United States Air Force. After retirement from the Air Force, she had the opportunity to homeschool her two children up to high school (her dream job!!). Kelly has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.S.O.E.) from Wayland Baptist University, a Master’s degree in Computer Resources and Information Systems Management from Webster University, and a Master’s degree in Religious Education from Liberty University. Kelly is a skilled professional with experience in various software development and Information Technology services roles and currently works at Compassion International.

Clint Henry: Clint is the lead pastor of Central Valley Baptist Church in Meridian, Idaho. Previously, Clint and his wife served as missionaries planting churches in the Midwest. Clint also pastored a church in Texas during the years of his seminary training at Southwestern Baptist in Fort Worth. One of his passions is the preaching of God’s Word and it’s application in our lives. Clint and his wife Jeannette have four grown daughters of which three are adopted. He loves to play with his granddaughters and camp and hike in the outdoors. His favorite Bible verse is John 3:30, “He (meaning Jesus) must increase, and I must decrease.”

Elias Jarillo: Elias grew up in Central Mexico at the main ministry site. He lived with his wife and children in Boise, Idaho for 8 years before beginning full-time missions in Mexico. Elias is fluent in Spanish and English and intimately understands the culture and needs of the area. Currently, Elias is attending seminary online at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Kentucky) and serves as Pastor of Iglesia Verdad y Vida in Agua Blanca, Mexico.

Katie Jarillo: Katie and Elias were married in 2007 and have three children who they homeschool. Katie has a Masters degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Non-Profit Organizations. Katie is fluent in English and Spanish, has served and lived in Northern and Central Mexico as well as served with missions teams in Costa Rica and Nigeria, Africa, and attended a language school in Guatemala.
